What if I told you that you can have this on the table in less than 20 minutes. Your interested now, right?!?! This recipe has literally been on a weekly rotation in our home. And no, I’m not really sick of it just yet. lol,Thats what I get for letting my girls pick the menu #momlife.

There is actually a hidden vegetable component to this recipe. Let’s just face it, kids in general don’t like vegetables (or, at least mine don’t). I trick them with Barilla Veggie Pasta, This pasta actually tastes like the real deal. We are obsessed with it. The good news is… this recipe is still amazing with or without the veggie pasta.

Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta
A quick 20 minute recipe that wow's the toughest critics.
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 bag medium frozen shrimp Thaw shrimp in cold water prior to cooking
- 1 lemon freshly squeezed
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 box barilla veggie pasta or regular pasta
- 1 tbsp garlic salt
- 1 tbsp parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- freshly grated parmesan cheese
In large pot boil your desired pasta until cooked
Melt butter in saute pan on med heat
Add shrimp, salt/ pepper, garlic salt, lemon juice, and chicken stock. Stirring occasionally until shrimp turns pink. (1-4 minutes)
Stir in Parsley and parmesan cheese.
Serve sauce over pasta with an added parsley and parmesan garnish.
