Lets up our confectionary game with this easy and fun tutorial for Chocolate Covered Oreos. Something that can be customized for any gathering!
Start with all your supplies handy...Remember, it's super fast to make.
Microwave chocolate in 30 second increments in microwave safe bowl.
**Make sure you are on 1/2 power or defrost mode.**
Once Chocolate is melted to a liquid consistency. Pour into each mold, just enough to cover the bottom.
Add an Oreo Cookie to each mold. Make sure to not push down on chocolate, let it sit on top.
Pour the remainder chocolate into each mold so the Oreos are no longer visible.
After cookies are covered in chocolate pick up mold and gently tap on counter to remove any air bubbles from the chocolate.
(you may have to push down a little on the Oreo, so that it's not visible. Depending on the amount of Chocolate used)
Refrigerate or freeze mold for 10-15 minutes until hard.
When Chocolate has hardened, Flip mold upside down and gently push down to express Chocolate Covered Oreo.
Now comes the fun part!! Decorate any way you would like!
We like to add Candy eyes, adhered with some remainder chocolate.
